Health Care Cost, Waste, Fraud, Malpractice, Cradle to Grave for All ****

The current health care bills proposes to create jobs, strengthen Medicare, reduce our deficit and provide coverage for those who need it most.   It proposes to extend coverage to the uninsured and crackdown on the practice of insurance company exclusion of preexisting condition coverage.

It will cut future Medicare payments and create higher payroll taxes on earnings of $200,000 (single earner) and $250,000 (couple earnings).  The president is proposing to
add efforts to include medical malpractice reform and find and remove waste and fraud.  These last too items should have been included in the already passed house bill and in the Christmas Eve senate bill.  Doctors are leaving their medical practices due to the enormous amount of malpractice insurance cost and the number of unjustified lawsuits.

Another tactic used to improve support evolves around a request for a cost estimate. The JCT (Joint Committee on Taxation) refuses to create a cost estimate until the underlying bill is passed saying that budget process requirements have to be met first.  To do a cost estimate before the bill is passed would get the cart before the horse.

Most Americans want a free market with individual responsibility, no cradle to the grave government coverage.  They want to be able to purchase insurance across state lines and they reject the idea of forced insurance coverage for everyone and government paid abortions.
