Housekeeping Organization that Works *************

Housekeeping organization that works, works me too!  I often think of the best way to organize my housekeeping plans.  I know the best way, but I don't seem to be able to make myself stick to the schedule.  When I was younger this problem didn't exist.  Now that I am older, I have many other desires that take precedence over my house keeping plans.

For one thing it isn't very much fun to clean the kitchen and four hours later you have it to do all over again.  Yes, that's right, once your husband retires, it will be that way for you too.  My husband still has reasons to be away from the house during the noon hour so I get to skip a day now and then.

But the real nitty gritty of housekeeping is vacuuming, mopping, dusting and of course the bathrooms and laundry.  I didn't mind vacuuming years ago, but lately it gets me down in my back.  Dusting has always been my hesitation.  Once I get started I don't have much trouble, but the getting started is like waiting for birthday or Christmas for a 5 or 6 year old and without the excited anticipation.

As we progress in life and accumulate more of everything from shoes to the size of our houses the task of keeping house grows more daunting.
You would think that if you can afford a nice big house that you could afford to engage a housekeeper too.  Well many homeowners have the property but not the extra dough for a housekeeper.

Stay tuned or return for the next episode if you think you will benefit or just if you think you can relate, relax and laugh some.
