America is running out of money.  Our national debt is too large for America to be a safe investment any longer.  Foreign governments will soon turn down our loan applications.  The interest we currently pay is endangering our future and that of our children and grandchildren.

Individual and family health care is the subject everyone is talking about.  The news sources report endlessly about what the Health Care Bill does not include.  Congress is fighting trying to write the bill and President Obama is making speeches right and left trying to convince us that the plan will be just, fair and affordable.

What should we believe.  My mother told me to believe only what you can hold in your hand and it still feels right and doesn't smell bad.  Well so far this can’t be held in my hand and it really, really, really doesn't feel good, much less RIGHT.  It doesn’t smell good either.

If you currently have a difficult time getting a doctors appointment, don’t expect it to improve with a government run health plan.  If you think you need an MRI or a CatScan and you mention it to your doctor, he will order it.  Do you know why, he orders it?  Well, it’s not necessarily because you need it.  But if he doesn’t order it and you happen to get some condition that a lawyer can trace back to his failure to order it, he is facing a law suite.  That’s one reason health care is so high.

Health care is high because people take advantage of their plan.  They fail to get regular or yearly check-ups.  People require medical attention for illnesses that within a week they will get over.  People read about an epidemic and immediately assume they have it.  

When those without insurance need care they are given care.  The care they get may not be the same care you would get because you have insurance, but they are not denied care.  After a health plan is forced on all of us, the care those without insurance received will be the standard of care you can expect to receive.
