The fishing tackle you choose will depend on the places you intend to fish and the fish you expect to find in those waters. A regular fisherman will have a reasonably large selection of rods, reels and baits. These will provide him with the tools needed to fish a number of different places on the same river or lake. They will also give him the tools needed for the weather and water conditions at the time he is fishing.
Fishermen may collect more tackle than they can ever use.
Often if a particular bait is successful the next visit to a fishing tackle store will result in the fisherman purchasing two or more of this identical bait. They never want to be without their bait of success. They will often share it with a boat buddy unhesitatingly.
They will pour over the Bass Pro’s Catalog or some other fishing tackle sales booklet for line, jigs, spinner baits, weights and other equipment bargains. Their desire for more is unending.
When they go fishing, they leave well before the crack of dawn and may not return until after sundown. They are rugged looking, tired and smell very fishy even if they failed to catch fish. They will eagerly get up and go back the next dawn.
