Medical Practice According to Governmental Bureaucracy

Medical practice according to governmental bureaucracy, it’s here not just coming soon.  The Medicare rules and regulations that limit or refuse to authorize the use of a prescription that was prescribed by your trusted and trained physician is not a new practice.

I have personally experienced this very Medicare practice.  The formula for some medications require that the patient try the medication of a lower cost for a period of time and then try the next medication up the cost scale.  That is fine for some patients, however it is medical practice according to bureaucracy.

My physician has supplied me with samples for the purpose of seeing if they will work.  Because I have not bought them, Medicare refuses to acknowledge that I have tried the cheaper drug.  Therefore in this instance, they refuse to authorize Lyrica.  I experienced similar processes with Actos, Loratab and some other medications.

Americans eventually will be unable to get some medications using the insurance provider via Medicare.  They will somehow have to manage to pay the full price themselves.  This will be the deciding factor that causes them to pay full price for all their medications eventually.  This is medical practice according to governmental bureaucracy.  That will be lots of fun, don’t you think?

I would love to hear from you.  Please leave a comment.
