Until I read about rubber-stamping on the regelstamper.com I had never experienced nor was I aware of this art form. I call it an art form because that is what it appears to be. It is a way of creating objects of interest in a non-traditional way. It is indeed “thinking (creating) outside the box”.
While not everyone will take up this way of creating objects, no one is excluded from rubber-stamping.
Greeting cards, party invitations and scrapbooks are just three of the many possible uses of this creative method. Childs play can turn a scrap into an object of joy and inspire the senses of artistic creation.
While this is a relatively new Website, it is not lacking in knowledge about the how to, the tools, the care of tools and methods of rubber-stamping. This may not be the chosen method of many artists, but we all need to be exposed to other methods before we can make choices based on knowledge, ability and desire.
Let your imagination run free and try this Webmaster’s theme when you plan your next party or the children become bored on a rainy day. If you are a teacher expose the children in your classes to rubber-stamping and send their work home to parents with this Website address.
