Cleaning the Closets

Are you a pack rat?  Do you hold onto clothing too long? Do you say to yourself "I'm going to loose weight and wear that again"?  Is your best reason for procrastination "this is too expensive to discard"?  Face it, there is no time like the present to "bite the bullet" and get on with this task.  It will even give you a face-lift without all the cost and pain of the plastic surgeons assistance.

Start with three ideas: 1) keepers 2) pass it on 3) consignment items

  1. If you love it, wear it often and receive compliments - it's a keeper.
  2. Items you haven't worn for two years - are pass it on quality.
  3. Sometimes we buy and never wear or remove the tag - definitely consignment.

Your closet is ready for reorganization.  Not all of us can shop till we drop specially in this economy, so when you shop be sure your purchases are quality and stylish.  Keep your clothing fresh and clean.

  • Choose accessories that will revamp your older wardrobe.
  • Stay age appropriate in your choices and play with colors.
  • Mix and match expensive with frugal finds.
  • Remember comfort counts too.
  • If you want to be unique, think outside the box.
  • Black is timeless and forgiving be sure you include it in your wardrobe.
