Finding something fun to do with the whole family can be challenging.  If you have children that are really small and older children, you have to find a median that will keep the whole family going.  Family time will be what your children will remember for years to come. It will be something that they will pass on to their families.

During the warm months, you should try finding games that can be done outside.  Sardines is a game that can be enjoyed by all ages of the family. It is a classic game of hide and seek, but with a twist.  One person hides while the rest of the family counts to around 25. The family spreads out to find the person in hiding. Once somebody finds the hider, they hide with them until everyone has found the person who was originally hiding. When your family is traveling, you can play the alphabet game.  In this game, each player will start with the letter “A,” and you have to find each letter in order on road and building signs. Other indoor games could be some classic board or card games such as Go Fish, Uno and checkers.

Games that involve participation from everyone will make it a more enjoyable time for all that is involved.  It is important to have everyone involved, because then they will have a more enjoyable experience. When games are played that exclude members, then it can lead to future issues with trying to get everyone involved.
