Charlie Rangel is only one among how many other politicians in the hot seat come this November's elections. The Republican Party suffered decidedly from the indecent behavior of a number of congressional members during the terms of President George W. Bush. During the Clinton years the president's affair failed to drive him from office.
Creating your child’s dream begins at birth. Mothers early on began to dream of their offspring becoming famous, wealthy, happy and prestigious in a vocation of choice. The child’s father may expect his child to follow in his footsteps. The child may fit that mold or they may have other dreams of their own. The dream of choice may be unattainable without extensive training and financial backing. Dreams are attainable with determination, commitment and continually applying oneself. There are many gurus that offer tapes, books and seminars to motivate and challenge the weak as well as the adventurous. Negativity has no place in the thought process of a dreamer. Dreamers must think of the goal they wish to achieve regularly. Their day begins with thoughts of success and how to achieve success. It ends the same way. They have a mind’s vision that they hold on to. Mothers and fathers help children become successful by feeding their egos, offering praise and exposing them to a variety of possibilities. As a child grows they selectively began to sort areas of interest. Parents can reward accomplishments and supply incentives. Parents can encourage participation in activities that challenge and train the mind, body and spirit. Parents can set examples and expose their child to examples of other successful people.
Creating your child’s dream must be the dream of the child’s choice, not the choice of parents. All too often parents choose vocations for their children because that choice was their dream.
The key to publicly speaking out and taking a stand is belief in yourself. Politicians, ministers, starlets and anyone that speaks out must first believe in their ability to make a difference. They must have a message they are adamant about. Changing the way people think about an issue or influencing their thinking is what marketing is all about. The difference is that marketing is directed toward mass media and makes use of all the bells and whistles of sound, photography and advertising genius. Individuals that suddenly become interested and involved in persuading others about an issue, be it political, religious or moral, will never jump into the water without first having a reason to do it. They will either do it for financial gain or they will have deep convictions about the issue. The power of a conviction is strong enough to move a mountain of opposition. People will read up on the subject of their conviction and will make waves throughout their community. They will expose themselves, their friends and family to both recognition and ridicule. Some are born leaders and others find that they just fell into a leadership position accidentally. Once in the position of leadership their skills and understanding of issues may grow leading them to be more forceful about their position. Joe the Plumber, gained significant attention during the 2008 U.S presidential campaign. Videos about him and his position are on YouTube for all to see. He has been on numerous TV talk shows. Sarah Palin the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate and at that time the governor of Alaska and Joe Wurzelbacher are examples of the natural leader and someone that just fell into a leadership role. Joe is not likely to advance politically. That is not his style or conviction. Sarah Palin has demonstrated her ability, conviction and desire to remain politically active.
Homemakers are facing financial troubles like they have never encountered before. The trouble stems from job loss and their inability to secure gainful employment. Added to that they are facing increased taxes on commodities and higher prices or reduced quantities. Families that purchased whole life insurance are asking agents what their options are. They are faced with tough and troubling decisions. They need extra income and a life insurance policy offers a quick fix. Their choices range from early cash out, a loan and reduced paid up insurance. Talking to their agent will explain the benefits and drawbacks of each choice. They may also suspend premium payments and make them up at a later date, if the insured remains insurable (according to policy standards). Charitable contributions are beginning to feel the pinch. Families that faithfully contribute to charities are reducing their gifts. They simply are drowning in debt or increased expenses. There may well be a rise in gambling and Lotto ticket purchases. The increases in chance offerings gives rise to increased violence, which necessitates increased law enforcement services and staff. Publisher's Clearing House is probably among the top successful businesses due to the increased participation in sweepstakes entries. More often than not each entry encourages a purchase of some kind, while denying that a purchase is necessary to qualify. All in all, our homemakers and families are facing troubling financial times. They are desperate for solutions. In their desperation it is likely that they have turned to our government for a "bailout" much as the banking industry did. They fail to realize that the more government controls our affairs the less freedom we have. A better plan would be to consult Dave Ramsey or some family focused financial help group.
Save your precious photos digitally and reduce the clutter. The age of a family album may have encountered the death keel. The Internet and digital photography can preserve your treasures for now and the future.
